Male Impotence is a serious problem that affects millions of men around the world. It is the inability of a male to maintain an erection long enough for sexual intercourse. But can affect a man of any age. Impotence does not generally include other symptoms such as lack of libido, inability to ejaculate or the inability to achieve orgasm.
The symptoms of male impotence are the persistent or regular inability to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for the completion of sexual intercourse or other sexual activity, despite an unaffected desire for sex.
• Side effects from medication
• Infection
• Diabetes
• Depression
• Hypertension
• Being unfit or overweight
• Deterioration of the arteries, common in older men especially those with high blood pressure
What are the main causes of male impotance?
• Varicocele – It is a swollen varicose vein in the scrotum, most commonly on the left side. Blood accumulated in the swollen testicular veins leads to increased temperature in the testis & damages sperm production.
It can be diagnosed, by asking the patient to stand erect and cough. The cord like structure from which the testis hangs i.e., the spermatic cord, feels like a "bunch of worms", on palpation.
• Duct blockage – Infection like gonorrohea, TB, filariasis; on surgery for hernia/hydrocele may lead to blockage of the passage between the testes and the penis. In this case sperms will be absent from the semen (azoospermia).
• Diabetes (high blood sugar) - Between 35% and 50% of men with diabetes have ED, and ED may be a predictor for other vascular problems.
• Hormonal imbalance – Hormonal imbalance due to pituitary or adrenal gland can lead to infertility.
• Substance Abuse – Exessive intake of alcohol and/or drugs leads to decrease in liver function and increase in levels of the hormone Estrogen which in turn suppresses sperm production.
• Stress, anxiety or depression including stress from work or family situations - Stress and anxiety are leading causes of temporary ED.

Hydrocele Alternative Treatment?
I have several hydrocele cysts and I need some help. The pain from these cysts is at times unbearable. I take meds to help ease the pain and use ice packs that may reduce swelling from time to time. The pain also reaches my lower back, and the rest of my groin. Any suggestions to help reduce the pain?
I can’t afford the operation to get them removed and researched a home remedy to remove them, but I’m asking for any suggestions on what to do for when the pain comes around.
Could they simply drain it, and then inject iodine into it? It would be less expensive than surgery. That works on many cysts on livestock, and I see it mentioned on the web.
I would also try saw palmetto. It couldn’t hurt. For pain, you might try laying magnetic disks over the area of the cyst along with nsaids. It might prevent any more from forming. Magnetic therapy does help with tumors, so it might help with cysts. It works by increasing blood flow to that area to promote healing.
Is there another treatment for hydrocele other than surgery, and does herbal get rid of the problem.?
it is a benign condition but swelling is getting in the way.
There a minimally invasive alternative to surgery. The excess fluid can be aspirated but it is very often not a permanent cure. A needle is inserted into the area of the hydrocele and the fluid drawn out. The condition may recur. Surgery is usually a permanent cure. Herbal remedies will not help. I understand your apprehension. I would not want a surgeon sticking a needle or scalpel into my testicle. I shudder at the thought!
is there any ayurvedic treatment for hydrocele. I am interested in non invasive treatment?
Sometimes it goes away all on its own or you can have a needle aspiration.

Hydrocele Aspiration Treatment?
I’m 16 and have had a hydrocele in my right testicle for two years. Since then it has never gotten bigger or smaller. But it does cause some discomfort so I want it taken care of. The risks and recovery time of a full out Hydroelectomy scares me. But The method of aspiration and inserting a scletothercing agent into the fluid sac sounds better. This is a non-communicating hydrocele, and the hydrocele appeared for no reason at all. Does the aspiration method usually work? Also will this make my testicle completely normal again? Or will it still be swollen?
